Hair @ Hesslewood is led by Julian Holland, whose career in professional hairdressing spans more than 30 years.
Throughout that time, the industry has changed enormously. Techniques have evolved, trends have come and gone and haircare technology has become increasingly sophisticated — but the importance of great hairdressing and understanding the person sitting in your chair hasn’t changed.

Even our backwash area has been designed with comfort and choice in mind, with both traditional seated and fully lay-down backwashes available.

Education has always been an important part of our salon culture.
Our team continually develops through professional education and events with some of the industry’s leading brands, but our experience has also taken members of Hair @ Hesslewood far beyond the salon.
From working backstage at London Fashion Weekto styling at MTV events, attending Kérastase and L’Oréal education and launches and spending time learning directly from industry experts, these opportunities give us access to new ideas, techniques, products and trends.
The exciting part for us is bringing that knowledge back to Hessle.
